Portfolio Project-1 (Week 4)

Things inspired by movies were the subject of today's investigation, and each of us brought four such items, including video chats, holograms, self-driving automobiles, and so on. This activity, I believe, was designed for us to comprehend the power of imagination and creativity. The films that inspired them were filmed long before such technology was available to the general public, but this type of thinking made it feasible later on.

We watched the episode 'Black Museum' from the Netflix series 'Black Mirror.' What if, one day, technology advances so far that this becomes a reality? Nobody wants their consciousness to reside in the body of another person. I thought the way inmates were treated was brutal, not humane.

As with other technical breakthroughs, the technology featured in the episode, which allows a person's consciousness to survive even if their body is dead, has both positive and terrible aspects. Though the technology may assist to preserve brilliant brains for all time and provide a type of immortality, it is also utilised in ways seen in the episode to imprison the mind, place a mind in a doll's body, and engage in other forms of brutal abuse.
