Portfolio Project-1 (Week 8)

 The videos on the robotic limb and the improved therapy for a rare genetic ailment called Luxturna demonstrate how far technology has progressed in terms of assisting individuals with medical issues. As we discover cures for all diseases, ailments, and viruses, we may soon reach a point where humans become eternal. If we have enough money to pay to live forever, the only thing that matters is money.

Portfolio Project (Week 7)

  We were asked to choose a field of personal interest to us in which we want to proceed to pursue our project for this class. The field I chose was farming  as I  felt farming will change a lot in upcoming years as we are starting to feel shortage to land and the population will obviously rise. The year I chose was my project is 2045-2050

I watched a live stream of the game Detroit: Become Human. It is the year 2038 in this game, and humanity has developed sophisticated androids to make everyday living simpler. These androids are utilised for home tasks, as investigators, and as carers, among other things. The game's atmosphere was fascinating since it combined many features of today's world with the potential for improvement in 2038. The android that was exhibited had a lot of powers, and it was also demonstrated that it was starting to acquire feelings. The following are some of the game's great features that I noticed: The ability of the robot to identify  the scene and objects. The magazine without pages. The painting made by the android.

Portfolio Project-1 (Week 5)

 Another episode of Black Mirror that we saw today was 'Hated in the Nation.' The most fascinating notion I had while watching the film was that any piece of technology created by man has the potential to be utilised both for good and for evil, depending on who holds it. Another aspect to consider is that no technology can be totally safeguarded at all times. During the episode's discussions, I realised how important it is to create a universe; if a high-tech device that isn't real is shown in a movie, it means that the object doesn't belong to this time period (this current universe); thus, in order to make the audience believe in something fictional, it is necessary to create an environment that is compatible with that technology. The way the people traded their phone numbers by holding them together, the car's interaction, and the office's basic, professional design were all part of what made the movie genuine.
