Portfolio Project-1 (Week 5)

 Another episode of Black Mirror that we saw today was 'Hated in the Nation.' The most fascinating notion I had while watching the film was that any piece of technology created by man has the potential to be utilised both for good and for evil, depending on who holds it. Another aspect to consider is that no technology can be totally safeguarded at all times.

During the episode's discussions, I realised how important it is to create a universe; if a high-tech device that isn't real is shown in a movie, it means that the object doesn't belong to this time period (this current universe); thus, in order to make the audience believe in something fictional, it is necessary to create an environment that is compatible with that technology.

The way the people traded their phone numbers by holding them together, the car's interaction, and the office's basic, professional design were all part of what made the movie genuine. Small things like the way the bees at the ADI headquarters responded with touch or the structure of the beehives would have taken a lot of care to create.

After watching all these movies and episodes now it was time to write my own story of how the world would be in 10 or 15 years from now and here is mine:
